Here are some externals that I have ported to Max/MSP or modified. The original authors are mentioned in the object's description. These objects are provided AS IS.

• mysql - Windows port of Bill Orcutt's mysql external to access a mySQL database

• bonk~ - attack detector for small percussion instruments written by Miller Puckette
  OS Intel Max 4.6 (21k), Windows (12k)
         
• fiddle~ - audio pitch detector written by Miller Puckette, this the Windows and OS X Universal Binary port.
  OS Intel Max 4.6 (31k), Windows (18k)
     
• fiddle~ - this is a version for OS X that uses Apple's vDSP FFT routines instead of Miller's original code. Due to the AltiVec enhancements there should be a noticable speed gain on G4 and G5 Macs.
  OS PPC (27k)
     
• PeRColate - a collection of synthesis and signal processing objects made by Dan Trueman and R. Luke DuBois. This is the Windows port of PeRColate, for other versions check out the PeRColate web site at Columbia University.
